Beautiful! We visited this State Park in August and it was quite beautiful. The park has a playground, a wading pool, picnic tables and trails. Great place for a family picnic. They also have a camp ground.

Quick Stop at Kershaw Ryan!!!! Stopped into check out the park again today and never a disappointment. Spoke the the ranger on duty and he confirmed that they will be adding electrical and water connections to the camping sites within the next two months. Waiting on permits. Not going to run septic to the sites, so you will have to use the dump station, on site. The addition of water and electricity will be a tremendous improvement. Now to get them to add sewage is the next step. Keep commenting !

We set up our tents here for 1 night... 15 spots in the campground (10 w/electric- 5 without). $15 a night (entrance fee & camping). A very nice park! The next morning after coffee and breaking camp, we headed to the top of the canyon to check out the playground, picnic area, & the hiking trails. We found this park very clean, restful, and enjoyable. Very nice picnic/playground area at the top of the canyon I highly recommend! RV dump station, toilets, pay showers, dumpster by entrance building

Beautiful Scenery - Great Hiking Path... The park was recommended to us, so we took a day and visited the Park. A beautiful place with lots of green, shade, and places to sit and admire. We found a hiking path and decided to hike our way to the end and back. The path takes you to the top of one of canyon and the view from there is awesome. Very windy the day we took our hike, but manageable. I would rate the hike a 2-1/2. The hike took about 3 hours from start to finish.

This is a beautiful area with great scenery and nice hiking trails. When it's hot outside this is a great getaway that's hidden between the mountains to keep it cool. Plus it has a nice playground and wading pool for kids. We spent our time at a wedding reception, which was a beautiful place to do so, but there is always camping, hiking, and hanging out of you just want a great place to getaway with the family.

What a pleasant surprise!!! The grounds are beautiful at this little Nevada oasis. We went for a hike up to the overlook. The signage was not very helpful--there seem to be a lot more trails than on the website map. Take water! Once you leave the canyon bottom there is no shade. We were hot and thirsty when we got back down and dipping our feet in the wading pool felt great!

Very interesting State Park! The campground is first come, first served with 15 campsites. The background of rocks is amazing. The swimming pool is natural so it depends on the weather a bit.

Nice State Park!!! I was in the area and toured several state parks. There are 3 main areas - campground right at the entrance, picnic & landscaped areas at the end and hiking trails above. Campground looked nice but little separation or privacy between sites. It would make a nice place to stay just accept the set up. Picnic area was very nice. This would be a very nice spot for locals. I hiked a small portion of a trail. Part of the trail was narrow, steep and a little unstable as I climbed. I was glad to be going up rather than down. I made sure I headed down with a more gradual incline. It was hot even on a nice Sept. day so I did a short little loop. Enjoyed my visit.

BEAUTIFUL SPOT!!! Went camping there. Great spot but limited for longer than 32' rvs. Beautiful hiking and biking. Esily accessible and good amenities. We went in Febuary so was windy and a bit cool would like to go back in march april when warmer. Not far was the Best area Cathedral Caves state park. omg amazing.

Best campground on our 2 week trip!!! Was headed to Ely and needed an overnight spot to gave this a try. Glad we did. At $25 a night, with full hook ups, it was best deal of the trip. About 15 sites and only 5 were occupied, so it was a quiet time. The sites are big and level but not much shade. With the high cliffs on each side, the sun sets "early" so you get that shade early. The bathrooms were the nicest of our trip, too. You do pay $2 in quarters for the shower, but you get 4 mins and the water is warm....and the shower stall is tile, big and clean! The campground is at the entrance to the park and about 2 miles back in the "park/green spot" area with picnic grounds, wading pool and trails. All in the "valley" area.
